In the meantime Bejker, going upstream Nile up to its source, has finished opening of its valley. As we specified, merchants operated for a long time already in upper courses of Nile, and two from them, Pitrik and Miani, have collected the big material on this area. However neither that, nor another have not visited on one of these two lakes feeding Nile. When Spek and the Grant left in the expedition, it has been decided, that from Egypt the auxiliary group for a meeting with them will act. This problem took was on itself Pitrik, but on various sorts to the reasons could not fulfil the promise, and carry out it have been called Samuel Bejker and his wife. In February, 1863 Bejkery have met both travellers in Gondokoro on Nile, whence Spek and the Grant on courts Bejkera have gone downwards across Nile. ' They have won the fight, - has told Bejker,-washing me still. It is necessary '.

Bejker the beginnings was to rise upwards on the river, but has encountered such strong resistance rabotorgovtsev, that has been compelled to leave the river and to go a land to Somerset-Nile.

' he on March, 18th, 1864,-writes,-at about noon the subject of our desires-lakes was presented to our eyes, at last. On the southwest and the West, eyes while sufficed, the infinite veil of its waters was spread before us, as a mirror; in the northwest it was bordered with a high mountain chain... From different directions, where the earth only was visible, the lake was closed by mountains... Descent was extraordinary abrupt, and only after long, tiresome transition, going step by step, we have reached, at last, extensive and flat coast of lake... I have gone directly to a coast edge... Has got drunk from it in plenty waters and from depth of soul has rendered thanks to the god that it has led me to the treasured purpose after, appear, any hope of success has been lost; and I named the lake which is opened by us and being the second source of Nile, Albert-Njantsa '.
