In 1853 Silva porto has acted from Benguela in the trans-African travel which terminal point it has planned, a river Rovumy mouth. It has crossed watershed area between Congo and Zambezi, has proceeded to the south from lake Njasa (not vidav the lake) and then has passed on area to the south from the river Rovuma. Naturalist Velvich has made in 1853 travel through Angola and has started its scientific studying. Next year Leal has opened a river Kuneni mouth. In 1858 Bastian investigated the bottom Congo, and in 1862 Serval Griffon-dju-Bellej and in 1864 Labengo and Tushar have carried out river Ogooue research Gabon. In this last area in an interval between 1850 and 1865 has made a number of the remarkable travel also P.Shajju, the father koterogo was a merchant on the river Gabon. Itself SHajju in 1850 has reached one of verhovev the rivers Ogooues, in 1856 has made travel across southern Gabon, and in 1858 investigated some of shorter rivers running into the sea to the south from the river Ogooue. These first travel SHajju abounded with adventures, on a geographical science have enriched a little. In 1863-1865 SHajju has made the travel most valuable by results, having passed in depth of the country from the river Gabon to the river Kambo, has defined geographical co-ordinates of some points and has visited before not known areas.
Nevertheless by 1866 when Livingstone left in last travel, despite an abundance of researches, the basic problems of geography of the Central Africa still remained unresolved. On January, 28th Livingstone has arrived to Zanzibar, has proceeded to the river Rovuma and further, along its valley in depth of the country, yet has not reached lake Njasa. It has bypassed a southern extremity of lake, has turned on the north and on April, 1st, 1867 has reached a southern extremity of lake Tanganyika,-northern was already earlier open by Burton and Spe. Livingstone the first has given correct geographical orientation of lake.
