Chubut and, having risen on the river Santa Cruz, has established, that the open lake Fajlbergom did not coincide with that lake that has been opened in 1782 Viedma, and that both of them together with set of others are a part of the whole system of the lakes located in parallel Cordilleras meridionalnoj to a hollow... In 1877 a little the Chilean officers have found out river Santa Cruz sources in this lake. Mojjano has made transition from Santa Cruz to the river Chubut, a part on Masters's routes, and part Darkforda. Visited 1877 on lakes the Master and Koljue. In 1879 I have again returned on Rio-Negro, have crossed Patagonia on 44th parallel, have reached Cordilleras and have proceeded on their slopes on the north almost to 39th parallel and again have examined lake Nauel-Uapi. Just at this time also the contract of 1881 has been concluded [Between Argentina and Chile when both parties have started studying of Cordilleras on which there passed frontier between them]. I was accepted to work in this direction. With 1882 till 1895 I was engaged in studying of Andsky areas of Argentina laying between 23rd and 34th parallels; and in 1896 on slopes and an internal part of Cordilleras has returned to Patagonia and left to lake Buenos Aires... In 1897 I have visited that part of Patagonia that is located between strait of Magellan and 51st parallel... In 1898 I have again risen on the river Santa Cruz and, moving ahead along east slope of mountains, have reached lakes Nauel-Uapi and Puerto-Montt '.

Moreno became the conventional authority on geography! Argentina. In 1902 it has been got to take part in the commission on border demarcation between Chile and Argentina, and in 1907 has received a medal of the Royal geographical society.
