In 1881 Thomson has returned to the river Rovuma for the purpose of check of the message of Livingstone that on it there are coal-fields. Having come for lake Najvasha, it has made a loop towards mountain Kenya and has opened in Great Grabene one more lake-baringo. From here it has turned on the West, and then on the southwest and has gone to northern coast of lake Victoria near to Napoleon's gulf. Back Thomson has returned through mount Elgon, lake Baringo and further on a line which was passing some to the east of those which it left. Thomson managed to cross safely area fearless and aggressive masaev, blocking a way to Uganda, to make a number of the most valuable supervision in the areas visited by it and to put some new details of a pas their card.
