Northwest afrika. A problem
you are: Northwest afrika
But here there was other problem. If the river does not belong to system of Nile where it all the same flows? This question SHvejnfurt has answered incorrectly, and its error resulted from insufficient knowledge of the Central Africa.
' Probability of that Kibali (that is headwaters Uelle) and the river Uelle the same, as the top Shari, proves to be true almost at once if we ask ourselves a counter question: ' If they not the same, what Shari, whence, in that case, undertakes Shari? ' Everything, that we know, and everything that we do not know concerning northern and northwest areas of the Central Africa, says to us, that in these directions there is either no sufficient water tank, or corresponding territory for development of a network of small rivers which would merge in the river, in the width in half-miles at a mouth and filling with the waters a lake equal on the area of Belgium '.
A little earlier SHvejnfurt wrote:
' If the river Uelle does not run into Shari, even in Gazal it can be only inflow of the deep river Benue which as it at Ioly was found out by Bart on July, 18th, 1851, had 1200 foots at width, on the average 11 foots in depth and a difference in 50 foots between the highest and lowest level. But even if it and so nevertheless there is unresolved a question on an origin of Shari, on where this river originates. I do not see the area on which it could flow '.
