Studying of some inflows of Amazon has appeared long process and has taken away from researchers of the various nations more than twenty years. Across the Amazon work has begun with researches Asevedo and Pinto (1862-1864). During same time above on a river valley the big work of high quality has done CHandless. Very few people can compete to it on accuracy and amount of works in pool of Amazon.

Orton investigated the inflows of Amazon originating in Peru, especially the river Napo whereas Tucker in 1868-1874 investigated Ucayali, Pachitea and Pichis, and Verteman has photographed Tambo, Samares and Putumayo. The contributions to geography have brought in 1875-1878 also CHerch, working on the rivers Madieras and Purus. Brown-on to southern inflows of Amazon and Across Madiera; in 1875-1878 Rejes has again visited to Putumayo.
