Research of the South America within XIX century represents a number of striking contrasts to research Northern. And today many scientific expeditions continue to work as over regular studying of geography of already known areas of the South America, and over research of unknown persons. From expeditions of last sort the most part, naturally, aspires in enormous pool of Amazon. From their number we can mention only three. The most important geographical work in this area has been made by Hamilton Rajsom. It has begun it in 1907 travel to a northwest part of pool and shooting of the river Vaupes before its merge with Rio-Negro. In 1912-1913 it has made shooting of the river Izany and a part of current Iniridy, and in 1917 has finished shooting Rio-Negro to Manaus. In 1919 1920 Raje has made shooting Rio-Negro to the river Kassikjare and Orinoco, and during the fifth expedition (1924-1925) Has made similar work on Rio-Branko and Urarikoere. Reports Raisa about its travel not only testify to its own big merits in business of exact knowledge of huge territory in the South America, but also are the fine comment to work in these places of its predecessors. Excellent work Raje has deserved to itself a place in the ranks of the largest researchers of the South America.
