That part of Canada that lays to the south from coast Ledovitogo of ocean and to the east and the north from already described areas, remained till absolutely recent time almost absolutely unknown. Long living in the north (1863-1878) French missionar E.F.Sen-Ptito has given something for knowledge of pool Makkenzi and Big Bear and lakes Nevolnichego, and Franklin and its companions have made exact enough cards of areas which they have visited. In 1887 and 1888 the Poppy-konnel has specified materials on the areas adjoining to the rivers Makkenzi, nevolnichej and Lajard; in 1899 Bell surveyed the Big lake Nevolniche, and in 1900 D. M.Bell has continued shooting from this lake to Big Bear. The newest shooting of the Big lake Nevolnichego made in 1922-1924 D. G.Blanshetom, has revealed many discrepancies in preceding works. Last years (1921) For shooting of valley Makkenzi topographical management of the Canadian Ministry of Internal Affairs undertook very active.
Have much worked on area shooting to the east from a valley of this river of J. B and J. U.Tirrelly. In 1892 the first has acted from Prins-Alberta on the river Saskatchevan and has passed through lakes Or-AND-la-cross-country and Blek to east end of lake Athabasca, whence on lake Uolleston and the river Gejki has returned back.
' For a working season we have passed shooting of 1300 miles of new routes from which on 540 miles the foot of the European never went; we have done 260 miles without any conductor, being guided exclusively on devices '.
